BOTRONYX: THE GIANT TERROR LIZARD

Deep within the fossil record lies Botronyx, a terrifying giant that dominated North America's landscapes. This reptilian belonged the group known as theropods, but its unusual features set it apart from its kin. Botronyx had enormous, bony hands that were likely used to grasping. Its sharp teeth {delivered afatal blow to its prey, and its muscular
